Craniosacral Therapy

‘No one is more worthy of your kindness and compassion than you are’ Thich Nhat Hanh

What is craniosacral therapy?

It is a treatment working directly with the body’s natural capacity to self correct and restore homeostasis.

The treatment’s main focus is with the body’s connective tissue network called fascia and the craniosacral system and all interconnected organs and vessels.

Craniosacral Therapy evolved from osteopathy and is an extremely gentle, non-invasive and effective treatment which can cause dynamic relief.

A craniosacral treatment helps your body reset, restore and renew allowing for healing to take place of the mind-body connection, musculoskeletal tightness and spasms, neurological deficits, autoimmune issues, organ function, many common conditions, and of course pain.

How can it help me ?

Our bodies work around held experiences until the load becomes too great and that’s when we develop symptoms.

In response to physical knocks and emotional stresses, your body tissues contract and given the opportunity it will release the stress naturally.  However, when the relief does not happen symptoms arise, physically and emotionally.

People often experience a lowered immune response where you catch everything that is going.  Aches and pains show up or digestive issues, stress, anxiety,  panic attacks, zzz and as well older symptoms can resurface.

As well as being beneficial to relieve compression in the neck, head, and back. It can help a person to reduce mental and physical stress and tension. CST restores the cranial mobility and releases any restriction from the region.

The therapy helps in removing the blockages in the normal flow of the cerebrospinal fluid and increase the self-healing power of the body.

Depending upon what do you want to treat through craniosacral therapy, you may need to go for 3 to 10 sessions to get the ultimate benefit or ongoing for maintenance and preventation.

Mostly CST is known for treating health conditions like:

• Usual headaches and migraine pain
• Insomnia or a disturbed sleeping cycle
• Neck, Back pain
• Fibromyalgia
• Respiratory disorders, Constipation
• Irritable bowel syndrome
• Tinnitus
• Anxiety disorder and depression
• Autism, ADHD
